Martin has been a member of the PGA TOUR since 2008.  He has won three times on the PGA TOUR, including the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational in 2011.  Martin is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, and you will see him sporting the Scottish flag on his belt buckle and bag at every PGA TOUR event.  He and his wife, Meagan and two young children, Jack and Hannah, currently split their time between Scottsdale, AZ and Charlotte, NC during the PGA TOUR season.

In 2016 on the PGA Tour, Martin had a second place finish at the RBC Canadian Open after shooting rounds of 73, 69, 68 and 67 for a total of -11. He backed this up with 2 top 10’s in the season at the Barracuda Championship and the Farmers Insurance Open. Martin made 17 cuts from 24 events and played his way into the Fedex Cup series. He finished the season ranked 77th in the FedEx Cup rankings with a total of 811 points.

At the start of the 2016 season, Martin ranked 248th in the Official World Golf Rankings. Due to his consistent performances throughout the year he has shot up nearly 100 spots to 149th.

Martin began his 2017 season with a T8 at the Safeway Open and turned in solid performances at the Waste Management Phoenix Open (T8) and Quicken Loans National (T3) en route to finishing 56th on the year end FedEx Cup Standings.


Martin played his collegiate golf under Jamie Bermel at Colorado State University.  Coach Bermel also coached Masters Champion, Zach Johnson, at Drake University.
