Robert Raymond Tway IV (or Bob) has recorded 13 professional victories through out his 32 years as a professional golfer. 8 of those victories have come on the PGA Tour with his most famous win at the 1986 PGA Championship at the Inverness Golf Club in Toledo, Ohio. Bob holed out from the greenside bunker on the 18th hole on Sunday to hold off the advances of Greg Norman. This shot has gone down as one of the greatest in the championship’s history.

A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, Bob attended OSU and had a distinguished college career. He was a 3 time, first team all American and was the recipient of the coveted Haskins Award in his senior year.

As well as winning the PGA Championship in 1986, Bob also recorded top ten finishes at the US Open and Masters. Bob’s season was capped off by being awarded the PGA Tour Player of the Year.

A regular on the Champions Tour, Bob continues to compete and enjoy the game he loves so dearly. His best finish in the 2016 season came at the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge where he finished T12 where he shot rounds of 65, 50 and 49 for a total of -15.

Despite battling injuries for most of 2017, Bob still registered a tie for 7th place at the Insperity Invitational as his top finish for the season

Golf runs in the Tway blood with his brother Kevin a Tour caddy and Bob’s son Kevin a Tour Professional.
