Colt has been a member of the PGA TOUR since 2009 following one of the finest amateur careers in the history of golf. He won the United States Amateur and United States Amateur Pub-links Championships in 2007. He was also the inaugural winner of the Mark H. McCormack Medal which goes the #1 ranked amateur in the world.

in 2015, Colt showed great form and had 4 Top-10 finishes on the PGA TOUR and finished 91st on the FedExCup rankings. These Top 10 finishes came at the Barracuda Championship, AT&T Byron Nelson, Crowne Plaza Invitational and the Humana Challenge.

2016 was Colt’s best year so far as a professional golfer where he had 2 top 3 finishes, coming at the Barracuda Championship and The Players Championship. This was also backed up with a T4 finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson and 8 Top-25’s. He finished off his season ranked 79th in the FedEx Cup rankings with 803 points.

Colt has completed his rehab from a wrist injury suffered early in 2017 and is looking forward to the 2018 PGA Tour season.


Colt is one of two players in the history of golf to win both the United States Amateur Championship and United States Amateur Pub-links Championship in the same year. He was also on the victorious 2007 United States Walker Cup Team.
