Adrian Meronk is Poland’s golfing superstar and in October 2016 decided that it was time to join the professional ranks of the game. The 23-year-old signed off on his stellar amateur days at number eight in the Official World Golf Rankings.

In June 2016, Meronk made headlines when he became the first Polish golfer to reach the British Amateur Championship quarterfinals. He was also the joint leading qualifier in the initial strokeplay stages of the tournament.

Adrian made his professional debut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and finished in runner up spot in the Pro-Am competition with his partner Johan Eliasch. They shot an impressive -37 around Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and St. Andrews which left them only 1 behind the eventual winners.

Adrian competed at the Mauritius Golf Masters in November 2016 and finished off his second professional tournament in a tie for 7th position.

Mixing between the Challenge Tour, European Tour and the BMW PGA Polska Tour gave Adrian a lot of tournament experience and 2017 was a breakthrough year for him.

On the PGA Polska Tour, he claimed victory at the Modry Las Open by an incredible 11 shots, after shooting rounds of 65 and 66, for a total of -15.

On the Challenge Tour, Adrian’s best finish of the season came at the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge where he was beaten in a play-off by Jens Dantorp.

He finished the 2017 season ranked 33rd in the Road to Ras Al Khaimah rankings, securing him a full Challenge Tour card for the 2018 season.

Adrian’s best finish in 2018 came at the Foshan Open where he finished in tied 7th. He has full Challenge Tour status for 2019 and is competing on this tour for the season.
