Paul Haley II turned pro in 2011 after graduating from Georgia Tech with a major in Management.

 

Prior to attending Georgia Tech, Paul played on four consecutive Texas state high school championship teams for Highland Park High School. He tied for the 2014 individual state title and also earned first-team Rolex Junior All-American honors in the same year. Paul won the 2006 Texas State Amateur Championship at age 18 and finished his amateur career ranked 10th in the U.S. Golfweek Amateur Rankings.

 

While playing for the yellow jackets, Paul finished in the Top-10 eight times. In his first appearance at ACC Championships, Paul placed T-4 and went on to place T-9 at NCAAs. During his senior season, Paul won the Yellow Jacket Classic followed the next week by a win at the ACC Championships.

 

Paul earned his fully exempt Web.com Tour Card in his first attempt as a professional and then proceeded to win the Chile Classic in his third professional start. That win, accompanied by 3 other Top-10 finishes landed Paul 12th on the Web.com Tour Money List. He played his rookie season on the PGA Tour in 2013. Paul has regained his Web.com Tour Card for 2019 after finishing Top-25 at the final stage of qualifying school.

Paul played baseball in sixth grade on the same team as Detroit Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles Dodgers’ pitcher Clayton Kershaw.
