Colt has been a member of the PGA TOUR since 2009 following one of the finest amateur careers in the history of golf. He won the United States Amateur and United States Amateur Pub-links Championships in 2007. He was also the inaugural winner of the Mark H. McCormack Medal which goes the #1 ranked amateur in the world.


In 2015, Colt showed great form carding 4 Top-10 finishes on the PGA TOUR and finishing 91st on the FedEx Cup rankings. These Top-10 finishes came at the Barracuda Championship, AT&T Byron Nelson, Crowne Plaza Invitational and the Humana Challenge.


2016 was Colt’s best year so far as a professional golfer; he had two Top-3 finishes occurring at the Barracuda Championship and The Players Championship. This was backed up with a T4 finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson and 8 Top-25’s. He finished off his season ranked 79th in the FedEx Cup rankings with 803 points.


After getting injured during the 2017 season, Colt has been balancing playing on the tour with his wrist rehabilitation over the past couple of seasons. When he isn’t playing, Colt can be heard on the air helping with commentary during certain tournaments. 


Colt is one of two players in the history of golf to win both the United States Amateur Championship and United States Amateur Pub-links Championship in the same year. He was also on the victorious 2007 United States Walker Cup Team.
