Preston Stout Captures NCAA Individual National Championship

Hambric Sports client and Oklahoma State standout Preston Stout added another milestone to an unforgettable season by capturing the 2026 NCAA Division I Individual National Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Stout fired a final-round 69 to finish at 14-under par, earning a one-shot victory and becoming the 10th Cowboy in program history to win the NCAA individual title.

The victory marked Stout's fifth collegiate win of the season, the most by a junior in Oklahoma State history, further cementing his status as one of the nation's premier amateur golfers.

With the championship victory, Stout also earned coveted exemptions into the 2026 U.S. Open and the 2027 Masters Tournament.

Following his national championship, Stout also ascended to No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), becoming the top-ranked amateur golfer in the world and adding another historic achievement to an unforgettable season.
