Four Hambric Sports Clients Set to Compete in 2026 Walker Cup at Lahinch

Four Hambric Sports clients will represent their respective nations this week at the 2026 Walker Cup at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland.

Connor Graham and Tyler Weaver will represent Great Britain & Ireland, while Oklahoma State teammates Ethan Fang and Preston Stout will represent the United States.

The four players enter the Walker Cup as some of the highest-ranked amateur golfers in the world, bringing significant international and championship experience to their respective teams.

Preston Stout (USA)

Preston Stout, 21, of Richardson, TX, enters the Walker Cup as the No. 1-ranked amateur golfer in the world.

The Oklahoma State senior captured the 2026 NCAA Division I individual championship after recording four collegiate victories during the 2025-26 season. Stout was also part of Oklahoma State's championship-winning team in 2025.

His international experience includes representing the United States in the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, World Amateur Team Championship and Walker Cup. Stout also won the 2025 Northeast Amateur by eight strokes.

“I have always taken a lot of pride in representing our country,” said Stout. “Being trusted as one of the ten best amateurs in our country means a lot to me, so it’s up there with just about everything else I’ve been blessed to accomplish so far in my career.”

Like Fang, Stout brings previous Walker Cup experience into this year's event and hopes to take on a leadership role within the U.S. team.

“I think this team is very close-knit and already has great chemistry with a good mix of really talented young guys and some older guys that have already got some experience playing in this environment.”

For Stout, the hope is to be one of the leaders of the team and bring intensity beginning on the first day.

“It means everything,” said Stout. “I love our country, repping the red, white, and blue, and I love competing for USA, showing everybody where the best players in the world reside.”

Tyler Weaver (GB&I)

Tyler Weaver, 21, of Bury St Edmunds, England, enters the Walker Cup ranked No. 2 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

At Florida State during the 2025-26 season, Weaver recorded a 69.58 scoring average and earned his second collegiate victory at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational.

His amateur resume also includes an appearance in the 2025 U.S. Open Championship, a victory at the 2025 Cabo Collegiate and international experience as a member of the winning 2025 GB&I St. Andrews Trophy team and the International Team at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup.

“Whenever the opportunity arises to represent Great Britain and Ireland, it is a meaningful and proud accomplishment,” said Weaver. “Participating in multiple Walker Cups would be a highlight of my amateur career.”

Weaver also brings previous Walker Cup experience to a GB&I team that has already developed over time.

“We have a cohesive and well-connected team,” he said. “My experience at Cypress Point last year will be invaluable, and I look forward to bringing those lessons to the locker room this season.”

For Weaver, competing on the international stage is a privilege and an honor.

“In the realm of sports, representing one's country is a notable milestone that many aspire to achieve. It will remain a distinguished achievement throughout my career.”

Ethan Fang (USA)

Ethan Fang, 21, of Plano, TX, will represent the USA Team while entering the Walker Cup ranked No. 9 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

The Oklahoma State junior won the Maridoe Collegiate and recorded a top 10 finish at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship. In 2025, Fang captured one of amateur golf's premier titles by winning The Amateur Championship at Royal St. George's.

Fang also represented the United States at the 2025 World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore.

“It is one of the top accomplishments of my career to be selected for my second Walker Cup and to be trusted as one of the players to represent the United States,” said Fang. “There are so many talented amateur golfers in the U.S. and to be considered one of the best is truly special.”

As a returning Walker Cup player, he hopes to use his previous experience to help prepare his younger teammates for the competition.

“I think it is rare to have a few returning Walker Cup team members, and we will definitely use our experience from last year to help the younger players acclimate to the environment more than maybe in years past,” said Fang. “The nerves I felt last year were something I have never felt before, and I hope my experience will be able to help prepare the young guys on the team.”

For Fang, the opportunity to once again wear the red, white and blue carries beyond the golf course.

“It is truly an honor to represent the United States and everything we stand for. You never know how many opportunities one might get like this, so I am going to do my best to make the most of it.”

Connor Graham (GB&I)

Connor Graham, 19, of Blairgowrie, Scotland, will make his third consecutive Walker Cup appearance for Great Britain & Ireland.

Currently ranked No. 25 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, Graham became the youngest player ever to compete in the Walker Cup when he made his debut at 16.

Graham recorded nine top 20 finishes in 12 events for Texas Tech during the 2026 season and was a member of the winning international team at the Arnold Palmer Cup for the second consecutive year.

He also qualified for the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush in 2025 and was the leading stroke-play qualifier at both the 2024 and 2025 Amateur Championships.

“It’s right up there with the biggest achievements of my amateur career as the Walker Cup is something I’ve always wanted to be a part of.” said Graham. “To be selected for the third time and have the chance to represent Great Britain & Ireland is incredibly special.”

Graham believes the relationships within the GB&I team will be one of its strengths at Lahinch.

“We’ve got a strong group of players, but I think what makes the team special is how well everyone gets along and how much we all want to compete for each other. I’m hoping to bring plenty of energy to the team, compete hard, and just enjoy being part of such a special week.”

For Graham, another opportunity to compete in one of amateur golf's most historic events carries much meaning.

“It’s a huge honor to compete alongside the other guys and be part of the history of the event, something I’m incredibly proud of.”
