Filippo Celli was one of the standout amateur players in the world before making his decision to turn professional. The summer of 2022 saw Celli claim Silver Medal honours at The 150th Open Championship, victory at the European Amateur Championship by one shot and also helped team Italy in claiming the Eisenhower Trophy.
