Having enjoyed a very successful amateur career, Joachim B. Hansen turned professional in 2010 and signed off from the amateur ranks by winning the individual section of the Eisenhower Trophy. He announced himself to the world by winning twice on the Challenge Tour in 2018 and then going on to top the Order of Merit rankings. His maiden European Tour victory came at the 2020 Joburg Open.
