Matt Comegys

Matt Comegys is a Texas native and graduate student at the University of Texas, where he was named the 2026 SEC Newcomer of the Year. A Golf Channel Preseason All-American, Comegys is currently ranked No. 20 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2027 and No. 65 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. The former No. 1-ranked junior golfer in Texas recorded seven top-20 finishes during the 2025–26 season, including a runner-up finish at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational and a top-20 finish at the NCAA Championship.
