Tobias Jonsson

Tobias Jonsson is from Sweden. He is one of the top emerging talents from Scandinavia. A standout at Mercer University, Tobias reached a career-high of 31st in the World Amateur Golf Rankings before turning professional in August 2024 following the U.S. Amateur. Starting the 2025 season without any status, needing to play on invites on the HotelPlanner Tour, Tobias made an immediate impression with a 2nd and 3rd place result elevating him up the rankings. Another 3rd place mixed with multiple top 10’s led to Tobias finishing 17th on the HotelPlanner Tour securing him the DP World Tour card for 2026, only 15 months after joining the professional ranks. A rare and an impressive feat to get the DP World Tour card when starting the season with no events and status to play, making Tobias one of the exciting best young golfers in Sweden and on the DP World Tour.
