Miguel Angel Jiménez has selected Thorbjørn Olesen as one of his two Captain’s Picks to complete the European Team for next month’s EURASIA CUP presented by DRB – HICOM. Thorbjørn joins Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño in the inaugural tournament that sees some of the best European players compete against Thongchai Jaidee and his Asian Team.

“I had an idea that Miguel was thinking of picking me because we spoke about it in Dubai, but you never know how these things are going to go until you receive the call so I was obviously delighted when the phone rang,” said Olesen.

The tournament runs from the 27th to the 29th of March and will be played at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur.

Congratulations to both Gonzalo and Thorbjørn.
