Hambric Sports are excited to announce the signing of rising Danish star, Gustav Frimodt, as he joins the professional ranks of the game.
Having graduated from Texas Christian University where he played his collegiate golf, Gustav ended his amateur career ranked 9th on the PGA Tour University rankings, as well as reaching a career high of 22nd in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Having finished 9th on the PGA Tour University rankings, Gustav has earned status on the Korn Ferry Tour for the remainder of this season, as well as a full PGA Tour Americas card for this season too.
Gustav had a remarkable 2023/ 2024 collegiate season and claimed victory at the 2024 Big 12’s Men’s Championships, as well as finishing in runner-up position on three occasions and racking up another six top-10 results alongside this.
The young Dane earned a number of individual accolades, including being nominated on the 2023 Haskins Award and 2024 Ben Hogan Award watch lists.
Gustav is a proven winner and alongside his victory last month, he also claimed top honors at the 2022 Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational and the 2022 Danish International Amateur Championship.
“I am beyond excited to be joining the Hambric Sports team”, said Gustav. “It means a lot to me to be able to give golf my full attention, knowing that my team has my back. I feel comfortable in that the professionalism from Hambric Sports will take me to where I want to be in my career.”
“We are really looking forward to working with Gustav and guiding him through his professional career”, said Rocky Hambric, Founder of Hambric Sports. “Gustav is not only an exceptionally talented golfer, but he is also a fantastic young man and encompasses all of the personal traits that we are proud to represent”.
