Hambric Sports is thrilled to announce the signing of rising Spanish golfing talent, Luis Masaveu, as he begins his professional journey. At just 21 years old, Luis has already built an impressive amateur career and is poised to make an immediate impact on the global golf scene. A native of Madrid, Luis turned professional ranked 16th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and 3rd in the European Golf Association rankings.

Luis has amassed an array of accolades during his amateur years, including winning the Low-Am Trophy at the Spanish Open twice (2022 and 2024). He made history earlier this year as the first Spaniard to make the cut at The Open Championship as an amateur. Luis also reached the semifinals at the 2024 US Amateur, finishing 3rd in stroke play in only his second-ever tournament in the United States.

Further highlighting his talents, Luis claimed victory at the 2024 Portuguese International Amateur Championship and was a key member of Spain’s European Team Championship victories in 2022 and 2023. With a runner-up finish at the Spanish International Amateur and his consistent performances on the global stage, he secured 3rd place in the DP World Tour Global Amateur Pathway rankings, earning a full Challenge Tour DPWT Card for 2025.

“I am beyond excited to be joining the Hambric Sports team,” said Luis. “It means a lot to me to be able to give golf my full attention, knowing that my team has my back. I feel comfortable in that the professionalism from Hambric Sports will take me to where I want to be in my career.”
