Hossler’s maiden victory on the Adams Pro Tour

Friday, December 9, 2016

It took Beau Hossler a while longer than he would have liked to make his professional debut, but like everybody expected, it did not take him long to win his first professional tournament.

Hossler, won a 36 hole event on the Adams Pro Tour by three strokes  in Spring, Texas, on Friday. It was his third start since turning professional in July.

He made his professional debut in the TaylorMade Pebble Beach Invitational in November and tied for eighth position there. He shot rounds of 69, 71, 79 and a superb final round 66 to catapult himself up the leaderboard.

On the Adams Pro Tour, Hossler posted rounds of 67-66 on the Cypress Course at Cypresswood Golf Club and earned $5,200 for his maiden victory. He played one prior Adams Pro Tour event, on Tuesday, a one-round affair in which he shot 72, tied for 22nd and earned $331.25.

Though he has no status on the PGA Tour or web.com Tour, he does have sponsor exemptions lined up, the first of them the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January, his first PGA Tour event as a professional.

Well done Beau. We are all extremely proud of you, and know that this is the start of your long and fruitful career!
