10 Jun JAKE BOLTON SIGNS WITH HAMBRIC SPORTS
It is with great pleasure that Hambric Sports today announce the signing of Walker Cup star, Jake Bolton, who has made the decision to turn professional.
Jake is one of England’s most promising young players and has been making headlines over the last number of years, following on from his impressive results and accolades.
His first major victory came at the 2019 Scottish Men’s Open Championship, which came a few short months after winning the Hampshire Salver.
A semi-finalist at both The Amateur Championship and the South African Amateur Championship in 2020, Jake showed the world his impressive match-play capabilities, which resulted in him being named on the 2021 Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup side.
Jake starred in the Saturday foursomes match at the Walker Cup in Seminole, where he held crucial putts at important stages of the dual, as well as hitting the shot of the day into the 18th green, which resulted in a crucial point being clinched for Team GB&I.
“I’m really happy to be signing with Hambric Sports, as I take the next step in my golfing career”, said Jake. “First and foremost, I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me reach this stage – I couldn’t have done it without you! This is an important time for me and to have the support of such an experienced team, that will have dealt with anything that I come up against, gives me great comfort. I can’t wait to get going”.
“We have been following Jake since his victory in Scotland a couple of years ago and since then he has continued to impress us, not just with his results on the course, but more importantly his attitude towards the game and his overall personality”, said Rocky Hambric, Chairman of Hambric Sports International. “This is an exciting time for both Jake and the team at Hambric Sports and we look forward to what the future holds”
Jake has numerous starts lined up on the Challenge Tour, where he looks to begin his progression through the Official World Golf Rankings.
