Hambric Sports is proud to announce the signing of Pepperdine University standout, Joey Vrzich, upon his decision to turn professional.

Vrzich reached a career high of 22nd in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, as well as being awarded 2nd Team All-American honours during the 2020 – 2021 collegiate season.

He won the prestigious 2020 California Amateur, to go alongside his impressive 16 top-10 finishes in college and victories at the 2018 editions of the Bager Invite and Nick Watney Invitational.

Joey was ranked #15 by Golfstat and led the Pepperdine Waves with a scoring average of 70.11, which is third in school single-season history. His best result of the 2022 season came at the West Coast Conference Championship, where he finished tied 2nd.

“I am so excited to embark on this next chapter of my career with Hambric Sports”, said Joey. “Their experience and record in professional golf is unmatched and I hope to be an addition to their impressive group of major winners”.

Joey will be managed by Walker Huddy. Rocky Hambric, Founder of Hambric Sports said, “I’ve watched Joey since he first won while at Nevada. His explosive ability to make birdies in bunches separates him from most of his peers. We know that Joey will have a great professional career and we are very honored and excited to be a part of it”.

Vrzich will compete on PGA TOUR Canada for the remainder of the 2022 season, as he looks to rise up the ranks in professional golf and secure status on one of the world’s leading Tours.
