Pearl Valley Golf Club, one of the leading golf clubs in South Africa, has today announced Zander Lombard as their Touring Professional.
The Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, is a destination inspired by the majestic mountain ranges and natural beauty for which the Cape Winelands is renowned. Since opening in 2003, Pearl Valley Golf Club has received a number of awards and accolades, most recently being named 3rd in South Africa’s Top 100 Golf Courses for 2022.
The world-class, 18 hole championship course had extensive input from Jack Nicklaus himself and perfectly epitomises his vision, philosophy and passion for the game, boasting pristine fairways, exceptional bunkering and ingenious use of water features, designed to challenge even the most experienced of players.
This announcement comes at a time of positive change for Pearl Valley Golf Club, as they announce the appointment of their new Director of Golf & Club Operations, James Searson.

Zander has been enjoying a fantastic run of form on the DP World Tour, where he currently sits 19th on the Race to Dubai rankings, thanks to finishes of solo 2nd at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and tied 6th at the Singapore Classic. He competes this week at the Thailand Classic.
