Golf Brianza Country Club have today announced their attachment to one of Italy’s up and coming stars, Lorenzo Scalise.

Designed in the late 1980’s and located in the Lombardy region, Golf Brianza boasts a technically demanding 18 hole golf course, as well as a top class driving range with short game facilities.

The course unravels with beautiful scenery surrounding it and renowned for being tricky, it demands accurate tee-shots from golfers, who have to navigate their way around 4 feature ponds and the hilly terrain.

“I have spent a lot of time at Golf Brianza over the years and I’ve always received a warm welcome there”, said Scalise. “The practice facilities are fantastic, whether it is the driving range or the indoor putting studio and the strategic layout of the golf course helps me to fine tune my game ahead of my professional tournaments. I look forward to representing Golf Brianza when I tee it up this year”.

“Golf Brianza Country Club and myself are very proud about our new partnership with Lorenzo”, said Nicola Colombo, president of GCB. “We are excited to have Loernzo as part of our club and he will be crucial in helping us to develop our junior programme through clinics and also by sharing his professional experience. I believe Lorenzo will bring a lot of enthusiasm to our programme and I know he will inspire our kids to follow their dreams to become a professional golfer, just like he did”.

Lorenzo is currently preparing to tee it up at the Austrian Open next week on the European Tour, which will then be followed by the Gran Canaria Open.
