Scheffler Hickok and Hossler earn 2019-20 PGA Tour Cards

University of Texas alum, Scottie Scheffler, earned the top spot on both The Finals 25 and the combined points list of The 2019 Korn Ferry Tour season, having finished tied 7th at the Tour Championship, after a win and a tied 11th finish in his previous two starts.

This feat gives Scheffler fully exempt status on the PGA Tour during the 2019-20 season, as well as an exemption into the 2020 Players Championship.

“It’s great to be able to play in The Players next year,” said Scheffler, who finished with 10 top-10s and two wins in 20 starts this year. “I have some family close by in Jacksonville so it will be nice to have them come out to the event. It’s awesome to be able to compete against one of the best fields in golf, and becoming fully exempt, to be able to set my schedule, that’s huge.”

A solo 3rd place finish at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship catapulted Kramer Hickok up The Finals 25 list, leaving him in 4th position and earning him back his PGA Tour card. This was helped by a tied 5th and tied 19th place finish the two weeks previous at the Albertsons Boise Open and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship respectively.

“After such a rough year on the PGA Tour last year, it is incredibly humbling to lose your job, but also, much more gratifying to earn it back”, said Hickok.

Beau Hossler finished tied 2nd at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship last month and earned his PGA Tour status back. Four sub-70 rounds sealed his 2019-20 status and he finished ranked 8th in The Finals 25.

Massive congratulations to Scottie, Kramer and Beau on their fantastic performances and we wish them every success on the PGA Tour next season.
