Scottie Scheffler’s incredible dominance in the world of professional continued today, when he claimed his 4th victory in 5 starts at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head.
With play being cancelled on Sunday due to bad weather, Scottie had to play his final three holes on Monday morning at the PGA Tour’s fifth Signature Event of the season.
Scheffler started his final round off with a par 4 and on the second hole, he made an impressive eagle 3, to extend his lead. One more birdie followed on the front nine and from there it was a stop start back nine to follow.
With play being suspended whilst Scottie was on the 11th hole, he then returned out following the delay and made birdie on thirteen. There was a further suspension and he made it as far as the 15th hole, before it was called for the day.
Returning on Monday, Scottie finished his final three holes of the tournament and with that, secured his fourth title of the season at the historic event, marking his 10th PGA Tour title of his career.
With this win, Scottie has once again extended his lead at the pinnacle position of World Number One in the Official World Golf Rankings and also at the top of the FedEx Cup rankings.
Scottie, you continue to make us so proud both on and off the golf course!
