Hambric Sports is very proud to announce the signing of PGA Tour player, Vincent Whaley.
Whaley is currently a PGA Tour member and recorded a tied 9th place finish at the Puerto Rico Open earlier in the year.
Having turned professional in 2017, following a very successful collegiate career at Georgia Tech University, Whaley immediately found success on the All Pro Tour and was named Rookie of the Year in 2018. This was following on from two runner-up place finishes, a tied 3rd place finish and three other top-10’s during the season.
Whaley advanced through Korn Ferry Tour Q-School in 2019 and went on to make 16 out of 24 cuts including two top-3 finishes (2nd at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic and tied 3rd at the Lincoln Land Championship). This led him to finish 25th on the Korn Ferry Points List, earning his PGA Tour card for the 2020 season.
“I know how important it is to have a strong team around me as a professional golfer and I feel that Hambric Sports is the perfect fit for me. I’m really looking forward to beginning our work together and know that they will always have my best interests at heart”, said Whaley.
Currently ranked 165th on the 2020 FedEx cup rankings, Whaley will compete on the PGA Tour for the remainder of the season.
Vincent will be managed by Walker Huddy. CEO of Hambric Sports, Rocky Hambric, said: “We are really excited to welcome Vincent to the Hambric Sports family. He has already proven himself as an up and coming star and we know that he has a bright future ahead of him”.
