Alex del Rey is one of the emerging stars in the golfing world.
Alex graduated from Arizona State University, one of the most prestigious college golf programs in the world, having had emerging stars such as Jon Rahm, Paul Casey, Alejandro Cañizares and Phil Mickelson.
In 2018, Alex became the second Spanish player in history to win the Eisenhower Trophy Individual World Championship.
With four victories and ten top 10’s during his collegiate career, Alex has been one of the most prominent players in Division I Golf, making 26 eagles and 514 birdies in 132 rounds and becoming the second ranked player in Arizona State’s all-time record for eagles and fifth for birdies.
The proof that Alex is recognized as a true international player is exemplified by his participation in the 2019 Palmer Cup, in which his stellar performance led the International Team to victory against the United States team.
During his junior career, Alex won the U18 Spanish Amateur two years in a row (2016 and 2015) and became the youngest player ever to win the 2014 Biarritz Cup.
Alex’s international Team record with Spain since age 14 is also remarkable: 2018 Bronze Medal, Eisenhower Trophy World Team Championship, 2017 Gold Medal European Team Championship, 2014 and 2013 Silver Medal European Team Championship U16.
Alex is a big supporter of Real Madrid, his dad of FC Barcelona and mom and sister of Atlético de Madrid.
