Alejandro del Rey graduated from Arizona State University, having been on one of the most prestigious college golf programs in the world. In just his third professional start, he had his first victory in the paid ranks at the 2020 Open de Mirabelle Or on the Alps Tour, confirming that he is one of the emerging stars in Spanish golf. In 2022 he earned his first Challenge Tour victory at the Big Green Egg German Challenge, having birdied the 2nd playoff hole.
