Gonzalo has had 7 victories on the European Tour and 30 top tens making him one of the most consistent performers since he turned pro in 2004.


He capped off a memorable 2013, finishing 7th on the Race to Dubai. The highlight of the year being his victory at The BMW Masters presented by SRE Group. Gonzalo was also part of the victorious Continental Europe Team in the Seve Trophy.


He is also one of the games great personalities.  2012 was also a great year for Gonzalo as he captured The Italian Open presented by CartaSi and narrowly missed out on selection for the Ryder Cup in Chicago.


Gonzalo was voted the Henry Cotton Rookie of the year in 2005 and continues to be a fixture on leaderboards in both America and Europe.


In September 2016, Gonzalo cemented his return to the PGA Tour after a fantastic season on the Web.com Tour. He finished T9th at both the Albertsons Boise Open and the Rust-Oleum Championship, showing that he had form and was putting himself in good position to get his PGA Tour card for the 2016/ 2017 season.


Gonzalo regained his European Tour card for the 2018 season through Qualifying School and his best finish of the year came at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, where he finished tied 4th. 


He then went on to finish in a tie for 5th at the Andalucia Valderrama Masters, securing his European Tour card for the 2019 season. 


Gonzalo will make his debut for the 2020 season at the Andalucia Masters in Valderrama where he will try to achieve his 8th victory on the European Tour.


Off the course Gonzalo is a very successful businessman with his company GFC Golf & Business.
