Bob Estes joined the PGA TOUR in 1989, bringing an illustrious resume in tow. Having won both the Fred Haskins and Jack Nicklaus awards as the nation’s top collegiate golfer while attending the University of Texas, Estes had high expectations for immediate success at the professional level. Needless to say, he did not disappoint, as he earned PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year honors and evolved into one of the game’s most consistent performers.

Now a four-time winner on the PGA TOUR and 34th on the Career Money List with earnings of over $21,000,000, Estes seems to have turned back the clock with his work ethic and physical fitness. He is quick to say that his best golf is still ahead!  He now plays on the PGA TOUR Champions where he has already carded nine Top-10 finishes. Always the gentleman, Estes sets the standard for professional decorum and is recognized as one of the nicest and most approachable players in the game.

When his schedule allows, Estes can be found faithfully supporting his beloved Texas Longhorns football, basketball and golf teams.

Estes is an active supporter of the University of Texas and has been a season ticket holder for the Longhorn’s football team since 1989.
